Recreation in Headley

The Parish Council is responsible for a variety of recreation facilities in the area. These include two village greens, one in Headley, the other in the hamlet of Standford. Various playing fields, including cricket, football, bowls and tennis. A sports pavilion, the Margery Wheatley pavilion on Mill Lane. A large number of allotments. Two areas of woodland, Arford Common and Headley Hill Woods. Click the links above to learn more about these wonderful facilities. In addition we have two children’s playgrounds in the village. One is situated on the village green; the other is next to the cricket field, to the left of the sports pavilion in Mill Lane.
