THE PARISH OFFICE
The Parish Council office is closed until further notice. Where practical, Council Meetings are being conducted on line; there are no meetings at the Parish Office and Staff are working from home.
The Government has closed all play areas, this includes those in the Parish at Headley Village Green, Headey Playing Fields and Standford Green. Wider grounds remain open for exercise but social distancing of 2m is required. Headley Parish Council thanks you for your co-operation in respecting these important measures to restrict the spread of the Coronavirus.
LIPHOOK ROAD ALLOTMENTS
You are currently permitted to visit your plot either on your own or with members of your household. DO NOT VISIT IF YOUR HOUSEHOLD IS SELF-ISOLATING.
Please follow these rules whilst attending your plot:
- Observe 2 metre “Social Distancing” with other tenants
- Do not gather for a chat, even if 2 metres apart
- Keep hand sanitiser with you / in your shed and wash your hands regularly
- Use hand sanitiser before opening / closing gate locks
- Do not share tools
- Only one tenant should work the plot unless living in the same household

NATIONAL SCHEMES TO ASSIST THOSE IN NEED
Hampshire County Council has launched its Hantshelp4vulnerable helpline: 0330 370 4000. It is aimed at vulnerable people who do not have support from families, friends or their local community, and who need urgent assistance with practical issues. Open 7 days a week, 9am-5pm.
NHS VOLUNTEER RESPONDER SCHEME
The NHS Volunteer Responder Scheme is supporting the most vulnerable. The 1.5m most at risk should have received a letter setting out help available. Register here to get Coronavirus support as an extremely vulnerable person.

COVID-19 COMMUNITY SUPPORT GROUP
Grayshott Parish Council are working with the Covid-19 Community Support Group providing volunteers to help residents of Grayshott and surrounding villages with shopping and errands.
Do you know someone who's isolated by the coronavirus? We're a group of local volunteers who would like to assist any of our neighbours who need help at this time.

HAMPSHIRE VOLUNTARY SERVICE
Residents across Hampshire are mobilising to offer in-kind support to the response effort, with many pop-up local community and mutual aid groups forming. Residents wanted to give time / skills should contact their local Council for Voluntary Service organisation, which will direct them to where support is most needed. FREE SCHOOL MEALS
Children eligible for free school meals are to be offered vouchers, food or meals to make sure they continue to receive support, even if they are no longer attending school, with immediate effect. Guidance for schools and local authorities on FSM arrangements has also been issued.
Business Hampshire has published a new webpage setting out advice, guidance and support to businesses affected by COVID-19. Through Business Hampshire, the County Council is working with local unitary authorities to deploy the Government’s package of support.
HOMEOWNERS AND RENTERS
The Government has agreed new emergency measures with the energy sector to protect domestic energy supply for those most in need or facing financial distress.
CITIZEN ADVICE BUREAU (CAB)
The CAB will continue to provide advice to East Hampshire residents, but this will be via telephone as all offices are closed to visitors. Please call the Adviceline 0300 3309 028 (East Hampshire residents only).
In addition, please visit their website www.citizensadvice.org.uk as a first point of call, which has up to date guidance including relating to Coronavirus. You can also email via this website as well as chat via their web chat facility via the Contact Us Page on the website.

The Red Mist Group are utilising their network of local suppliers, to offer a grocery home delivery service during this difficult time, from their warehouse in Farnham. If you’re within our delivery radius (15-mile radius of Farnham), we can deliver the essentials to your doorstep including fresh veg, fruit, meat, dairy products, eggs and toiletries.
